Yapım Aşamasında / Under Construction, Mi Gallery Bodrum

“Yapım Aşamasında” sanatçının üretim sürecine odaklanan bir sergidir. İki haftada bir farklı bir sanatçının mekanı tuval olarak kullanacağı 3er günlük canlı çizim performanslarıyla, galeri mekanı yavaş yavaş dolacak ve galeri olarak kimliğini kazanacaktır. Bitmiş işleri sergilemek yerine izleyiciyi üretim sürecini deneyimlemeye davet eden sergi, benzer bir yaklaşımla galeri alanını da tamamlanmış bir projeden ziyade bir süreç olarak kurgulamaktadır. Bu anlamda Mi’Galeri’nin ilk sergisi dört farklı sanatçının katkılarıyla bir galeri mekanının oluşumunu da sergilemektedir. 

Gerek büyüklüğü gerekse endüstriyel tasarımıyla sokak sanatı için ideal bir ortam oluşturan Mi’Galeri, Mayıs ayında Türkiye’nin en iyi sokak sanatçılarından Esk Reyn ve Nuka’yı, Haziran ayındaysa İspanya sokak sanat sahnesinin yükselen yıldızı Deih ve bantla sokak sanatı yapan ilk sanatçı Avusturalyalı Buff Diss’i misafir edecek. 

“Under Construction” is an exhibition that focuses on the artistic production process. Every two weeks, a different artist will overtake a section of the gallery and use it as his canvas for the duration of 3 days and through these live drawing performances, the gallery will slowly fill up and come to its own. While inviting the audience to experience the process of artistic production rather than just admiring the finished works of art, the exhibition also constructs the gallery space as a work-in-progress rather than a finished project. In that regard, the inaugural exhibition of Mi’Gallery is also the exhibition of the development of an exhibition space with the contribution of four artists.  
Providing the perfect setting for the exhibition of street art thanks to its size and its industrial feel, Mi’Gallery will host two of the most established street artists of Turkey, Esk Reyn and Nuka, in May, followed by the rising star of the Spanish street art scene, Deih and the pioneer of tape art from Australia, Buff Diss.
